The main emphasis of this program is to prepare children for kindergarten. We provide a variety of creative learning centers, which offers opportunities to acquire and refine fundamental skills. Children continue to learn through playing, exploring and creating, but new areas of pre-academics are added to their environment. Children are exposed to print, positional concepts, sequencing, math and science concepts and problem solving among many other necessary concepts through more complex activities. Language Development/Reading Readiness is developed through participation in activities which build oral language, listening skills, vocabulary, sentence development and the ability to communicate with others. We continue to keep in touch with current kindergarten teachers to provide the necessary skills your child will need for a smooth and positive transition.
